The Maoxion family is a family with vineyards in the Cognac region of France that grows from the year 1743 different varieties of fine grapes used in the production of Cognac in France. Today, the 10th generation of the family continues the entire process of cultivating the vineyards and the grape harvest in accordance with a long tradition that is passed down for generations. The family sells its product to all the great and famous cognac houses in accordance with the strict agreements and rules that are customary in the cognac region. The Maoxion family collection provides a rare opportunity for lovers of the prestigious drink to get first-hand exposure to the grape growing area in the Cognac region and the flavors and aromas of the cognac from the moment of harvest – continued distillation until transfer to barrels for aging. In the Cognac region there are 5 grape growing areas: Grand Champagne, Petit Champagne, Fine Boa, Bon Boa, Border. Each growing area has the characteristics and varieties of grapes that are selected for the production of cognac according to its types.
