Cognac Mauxion Selection
The Maoxion family is a family with vineyards in the Cognac region of France that grows from the year 1743 different varieties of fine grapes used in the production of Cognac in France. Today, the 10th generation of the family continues the entire process of cultivating the vineyards and the grape harvest in accordance with a long tradition that is passed down for generations. The family sells its product to all the great and famous cognac houses in accordance with the strict agreements and rules that are customary in the cognac region. The Maoxion family collection provides a rare opportunity for lovers of the prestigious drink to get first-hand exposure to the grape growing area in the Cognac region and the flavors and aromas of the cognac from the moment of harvest – continued distillation until transfer to barrels for aging. In the Cognac region there are 5 grape growing areas: Grand Champagne, Petit Champagne, Fine Boa, Bon Boa, Border. Each growing area has the characteristics and varieties of grapes that are selected for the production of cognac according to its types.

Produced and aged in a grape vintage in 1957 – a very elegantly balanced cognac with a fragrance of dried fruit and orange with a delicate aroma of cinnamon.

A unique barrel of grape distillation inherited from a grandfather to a grandson of a winegrower family in the Border region. The cognac that was in the barrel was made and aged in the basement of the family’s house for a period of more than 100 years, and it especially emphasizes the wonderful floral aroma that the drink has after so many years in which it has been aged in the barrel.

It is a blended cognac from the noblest of crus, with a mix of fruity and lightly woody aromas with secondary floral notes, fruity, full bodied and smooth on the palate. A very smooth, warm, aromatic and complex on the nose. Good balance between aromas of fruit, flowers and well – integrated oak. Warm, unctuous velvety, ample and round and persistent on the palate. To be consumed simply with ice or water.

It is around 53% volume that this VSOP FINE CHAMPAGNE cognac reveals all his subtle and mellow flavors, resulting from cognacs slowly and carefully hard-craft. The nose reveals perfumes of vine and green lemon as well as vanilla, notes of dry fruits such as apricot and prune, all blended to a delicate rancio. Force 53 is an exceptional VSOP fine champagne cognac with an alcoholic strength of 53% vol. This cognac is perfectly appropriate for aperitif during the afternoon or late in the evening.

COGNAC LOUIS ROYER GRAND CHAMPAGNE SINGLE CASK 38 YEARS
Firstly its age statement is not normally permitted. This cognac is shipped from its “birth” in cask and allowed to develop under customs supervision in damp and humid cellars often under the Thames (England). The cognac started its life in the cognac region being aged in the LOUIS ROYER cellars for about 15 years before the dispatch to London Thames river. Under the water it continues its developing in the heavy-sinewy Limousin Hogsheads.
The casks of which this bottle comes from are returned to Jarnac – France and under the new regulations – introduced in 1989 it is allowed to bottle with an inscription of age statement for such merchandise .each bottle states the date of bottling – the number of cask and the total number of bottles produced from the relevant cask. Very elegant deep amber colour –smooth – round with hints of chocolate and spices, cinnamon and cigar boxes abound. The warmth indicated on the nose develops into a soft – spicy and crystallized fruit flavor.
