Moonshine PLATTE VALLEY
Moonshine Whiskey is a unique whiskey made from 100% corn alcohol. “Moonlight Plate Valley” was founded in 1856. Since then it has been produced in small quantities and is considered one of the oldest and most authentic whiskey brands in the United States. The origin of the name “Moonshine” comes from the nickname given to it by the underground whiskey distilleries that sought to avoid excessive tax payments at the time and therefore distilled the whiskey in hiding places outside in the moonlight – the Hebrew translation Moonshine is moonlight. Most associated with the birth and establishment of the American whiskey industry. Even today, Moonshine Plate Valley is produced in small, high-quality quantities only and is bottled in a hand-made pottery jug that resembles the jug of the period in which the whiskey began to be produced.
