Located in the GlenLivet area up in the mountains of Scotland, in a village named after the Tomintoul distillery. A special whiskey launched in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Tomintoul Distillery, which began operations in 1965. A number of barrels in which the whiskey is aged throughout 1965-1975-1985-1995-2015 were selected by Mr. Robert Fleming for a very special blend of single malt whiskey that mixes all aromas. The aroma of the five decades of each of the barrels was specially selected for this production edition. The whiskey is very special in flavors that includes banana flavor, and has a velvety taste. The Whiskey is aged in barrels of Tomintoul distillery from 1974 and due to the rare quality of the whiskey, it is filled in a very special bottle and the packaging is intended for collectors and has been defined as a valuable piece of jewelry. High-quality pineapple flavors and aromas combined with a delicate combination of a fine coffee aroma.
Tomintoul Tila is the result of a combination between several barrels of single malt whiskies from different aging years in the Tomintoul distillery, which were carefully selected by Robert Fleming, the master blender of the distillery, and aged for another period together in American bourbon barrels- which produced very high quality whiskey. In the ancient Gaelic language the word “tila” means delicacy. The whiskey’s name is given due to its delicate and special taste. The color of the whiskey is golden and has a combined sweetness of toffee and vanilla with aromas of lemon and delicacy of mint leaves. The finish has a refreshing spiciness of a mint scent. The bottle has a fancy cylinder with a capacity of 700 ml, and 40% alcohol.
