The relatively high alcohol strength for its age indicates the quality of the cask and the preservation of the spirit’s vitality over time. An aroma of damp oak, alongside autumn leaves and a gently sweet, earthy character. An oily and addictive texture with warm spices such as cinnamon and clove, supported by a deep foundation of salted caramel. A long, lingering finish of charred oak, burnt brown sugar, and orchard fruits.
