A 10-year-old whisky made from a blend of malts from the Highlands. A very sweet aroma, with strong notes of toasted almonds, maple syrup, and vanilla fudge. Alongside this, a rich combination of baked fruits such as apples and pears, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange zest. The palate is creamy and enveloping, balancing the initial sweetness with a distinct spicy and malty character. Flavors of honeycomb, apricot, buttery scones, and meringue give way to a kick of white pepper, ginger, and clove, with a touch of lemon peel. A medium-length finish, with lingering notes of honey, orange, and spiced oak. Some tasters also detect a slight menthol or mineral quality. No added color and non-chill filtered.
