Scarabus Batch Strength Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a carefully selected small batch of casks, chosen for bottling at a powerful 57% ABV. Like the rest of the range, it is released as a non-age statement whisky with no added colouring. It retains Scarabus’ signature smooth and approachable character—sweet and peated—yet with amplified intensity, a richer mouthfeel, and an even longer finish. The nose opens with classic maritime peat smoke, salty sea air, and subtle hints of vanilla and oak spice. On the palate, charred oak, aged leather, and stewed orchard fruits unfold לצד a returning wave of vanilla sweetness through the smoky peat. The finish is long and persistent, with bonfire smoke, salted caramel, and fresh berries.
