Rye Law Vintage Single Grain Scotch Whisky 46.3%

This whisky is produced from a blend of grains at a single distillery and distilled in pot stills. The mash bill consists of 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley. It is distilled in the distillery’s unique Lomond Hill still and matured in new American virgin oak casks. InchDairnie’s innovative Meura mash filter enables more efficient extraction of the grain’s starches compared with traditional distilleries.

Nose: Pronounced aromas of freshly baked rye bread, warming winter spices such as clove and nutmeg, complemented by notes of vanilla and the sweet richness of maple syrup derived from the new oak casks.

Palate: An explosion of black pepper and warming spices, followed by dark chocolate, candied orange peel, and earthy cereal notes.

Finish: Long and dry, with toasted oak, burnt caramel, and a pleasant lingering peppery spice that gently tingles on the palate.
