This edition was bottled to mark the 15th anniversary celebrations of Big Peat. It is a blend of the finest single malts from Islay, with most of the spirit aged in hand-selected red wine casks. It has an earthy aroma, dominant smoke, berries, vanilla, and butterscotch. The palate is very fruity, with dark chocolate and delicate nuttiness. The finish is long, with home-baking spices and dry peat smoke that lingers for a long time. It is non-chill filtered and contains no added color.
